Make a test call

A test call plays a short message and then repeats what you say, so you can hear your own sound and delay. It's free and doesn't use your minutes.
Make one
- Open Ansa and tap Make a test call.
- Listen to the short message, then speak.
- You should hear yourself back after a moment.
What it tells you
- You hear yourself clearly: your microphone, speaker and connection are fine.
- Silence: Ansa probably isn’t allowed to use the microphone — see callers say they can’t hear me.
- Choppy or delayed: your connection is weak. Move closer to Wi-Fi or somewhere with better mobile data, and try again.
